January 1st[]

The Unlucky Tug uploads his annual New Years Announcement Video and with it announces he will be leaving Twitter.
Twitter users ThomasTankMerch and OGThomasFan release the first of a series of photos showcasing the small scale narrow gauge props they own, alongside Peter Sam's small scale model that was revealed the previous year by OGThomasFan.

January 3rd[]

A photo of Sir Handel, Duke and Peter Sam's small scale models reunited in present day is released by Twitter user OGThomasFan.

January 4th[]

A photo of the 3 small scale narrow gauge props used in the HiT Era (Skarloey, Rusty and Peter Sam) all reunited in present day is released by Twitter user OGThomasFan.

January 5th[]

The final photo of the small scale narrow gauge models owned by Twitter users ThomasTankMerch and OGThomasFan is released, being a shot of them all in a row.

January 11th[]

A news report by "Triad_City_Beat" is made on the fan-made documentary "An Unlikely Fandom" that premiered the previous year.

January 13th[]

The Florida Rail Fair begins, featuring a range of Gauge 1 replica makers attending and exhibiting their replicas, several new replicas are also unveiled by these users.

January 14th[]

Alfie's smiling and snarling faces are revealed to be owned by Twitter user Machan of Sodor.

The Talyllyn Railway's Twitter account announces that The Awdry Extravaganza 4 will be held on the 20th and 21st of July 2024.

February 1st[]

Twitter user OGThomasFan teases orthographic drawings of Peter Sam's small scale model, with the help of fellow user TDoc41. They would be released 5 days later.
Twitter user CartyCinema (director of "An Unlikely Fandom"), reveals a major progression has been made in getting said documentary released publicly.

February 6th[]

Twitter user ThomasTankMerch publicly releases orthographic drawings of Peter Sam's small scale model with the help of previously mentioned users, TDoc41 and OGThomasFan.

February 16th[]

Twitter user TheLilWestern reveals he is in possession of Gordon's disgusted face, which was sold to him by Twitter user EDsTrainz who in turn bought the face from Twitter user ThomasTankMerch after they received a copy of the aforementioned face which was the copy used in the S12 face sheets.

February 17th[]

The annual "Mad City" Train Show in Madison Wisconsin begins. Twitter user The_lbsc_thomas is one of the exhibitors, displaying his gauge 1 replicas.

February 18th[]

February 22nd[]

Elizabeth's grinning face is revealed to be owned by Twitter user Machan of Sodor.
Twitter user OGThomasFan makes a tweet showcasing his Screen-Used Driver Figure that he bought of Prop Gallery in 2015, this figure was previously seen in the background of a behind the scenes pic during filming of the post credit sequence of "An Unlikely Fandom".

February 23rd[]

Prop Gallery reveals they have a large-scale boy figure from Series 10 for sale on their Facebook.

February 27th[]

A trailer for the third season of All Engines Go is released, and with it, it is revealed Winston will be returning.

February 29th[]

Prop Gallery lists and sells a large-scale Banksman head on their website.

March 1st[]

Prop Gallery reveals they have a set of spare unused Rheneas nameplates for sale on their Facebook.

March 2nd[]

The Preston & District Model Railway Society Exhibition begins with it's first day. The Talyllyn Railway exhibit the Rev W Awdry's Ffarquhar Branch Layout there.

March 3rd[]

Prop Gallery reveals they have a spare unused James number decal for sale on their Facebook.

March 7th[]

A member of the Unlikely Fandom confirms that Britt Allcroft considers Thomas and the Magic Railroad canon. This is publicly shared by Joshua W56 on March 27th, much to mixed reactions from fans.

March 9th[]

The Edison Train Show in New Jersey begins with it's first day. Modelling group 'North Western Modelers', exhibiting there having various 00 and G1 models on display.

March 10th[]

The Edison Train Show continues with it's second and final day. The 'North Western Modelers' are once again exhibiting there.

March 14th[]

Prop Gallery lists and sells a second large-scale Banksman head on their website.

March 25th[]

A Troublesome Van face is revealed to be owned by Twitter user Machan of Sodor.
Sir Handel's prototype face sold on Prop Gallery in 2023 is revealed to be owned by Twitter user BostonThomasFan.
It is announced several fandom members will be exhibiting their fan-made models and layouts at the Great British Train Show in Brampton on April 26-27th, Twitter user NorthernStarCA additionally teases that there will be some surprise displays at the exhibition.

March 26th[]

The KATO website, in preparation for an upcoming event called the "Adult Thomas Plaza" at the Hobby Center Kato Tokyo store, show the unseen photo by Japanese photographer Tadaaki Okada who visited for the production of the show, in the photo was featured Edward, Gordon, Duck, Oliver, Harold, Peter Sam, Bertram and one of the two Leyland Tiger bus models on the standby for production of season 5.

March 29th[]

Twitter user NorthernStarCA reveals they will be holding the second 'Shining Time Station' prop exhibition at the Great British Train Show in Brampton on April 26-27th.

March 30th[]

A Thomas & Friends Story Treasury Book is revealed and on it, is the fandom's first ever look at the 80th anniversary logo. The silhouette of Thomas is the 'All Engines Go!' design rather than the CGI or Model Series design, much to the fandom's disappointment.
Twitter user KingoftheTWR, reveals they are in the possession of an original small scale driver figure from the television series.

April 6th[]

The "Tugs 35th Anniversary Event" at the Midland Railway Butterly begins with it's first day, the exhibition coach is closed during this event due to an upcoming revamp.

April 7th[]

Twitter user NorthernStarCA announces in celebration of their upcoming 'Shining Time Station' prop exhibition, they will be giving away a giant 3" nickel signed by Schemer's actor, Brian O'Connor.

April 19th[]

A new still image from the Down the Mine Pilot is released by YouTube user SewerReviewer, a video is also uploaded by the same user breaking down the image as well as hinting to it being formerly gatekept.
A Troublesome Truck face is revealed to be owned by Twitter user Machan of Sodor.

April 20th[]

The first day of the "Adult Thomas Plaza" event at the Hobby Center Kato Tokyo store begins, Gauge 1 and OO Gauge models by Twitter users GermanBlueSodor, Gauge1Man, LittleWestern, SodorMail1992 and TomyNewAcOliver are displayed as well as various behind-the-scenes photos from the personal collection of photographer, Tadaaki Okada. Various production-made face casts and the 2000 resin replicas of Thomas and Lady are also displayed. CoolProps also display their replicas of Bill, Ben, Thomas, Annie and Clarabel.
Through a Japanese Trackmaster Push Along listing, it is revealed that Duck will be returning in the next season of All Engines Go!

April 21st[]

The Great British Train Show in Brampton Toronto begins with it's first day. The Shining Time Station Exhibition is displayed there alongside the Elsbridge Layout present at the show in 2022 alongside many gauge 1 replicas by various Twitter users. With it, a new gauge 1 replica of Edward by Twitter user wrreviews, a new gauge 1 replica of Derek by Twitter user Thomas_Blue and a replica of Maithwate Station by Twitter user 10mmThomas are all revealed on the layout.

April 28th[]

The Great British Train Show in Brampton Toronto continues and ends with it's second day, the Elsbridge and Shining Time displays win the 'People's Choice Award' at the show. NothernStarCA also announces the winner of their 3" Nickel signed by Brian O'Connor competition on the same day.

May 8th[]

On TrainWorldTV'S May 'Thomas Tuesday' livestream, a painted sample of Bachmann's upcoming Rebecca model is revealed.
Twitter user OGThomasFan reveals they own the prototype ERTL Mike that sold on auction back in 2022.

May 10th[]

The fan-made group "North Western Modelers" announce they will be displaying at the North Carolina Transportation Museum on May 18th and 19th as part of their 'Historic Spencer Shops' show.

May 11th[]

The fan-made documentary "An Unlikely Fandom" is featured on Fox News' "The Buckley Report" with an interview with the film's director Brandon Carty.

May 12th[]

The 79th anniversary of The Railway Series is held.
Twitter and YouTube user 'SmurfyDan' shares a 3D scan file of his Arthur face for everyone to use.

May 17th[]

The Talyllyn Railway releases a ticket announcement video for the Awdry Extravaganza 4, detailing many new activities for visitors to book. Tickets are announced to go on sale publicly on May 22nd, with Talyllyn Preservation Society Members getting access to book tickets two days early.

May 18th[]

The first day of the 'Historic Spencer Shops' show at the North Carolina Transportation Museum begins, the fan-made group "North Western Modelers" attend, exhibiting their various fan-made gauge 1 and 00 models at the display.

May 19th[]

The Awdry Extravaganza 4 begins in Tywyn, Wales with the annual Friday Fred evening train.
It is announced that the "Adult Thomas Club" will be exhibiting at the 2024 Tokyo Model Railroad Contest, at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square from Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th, and from Saturday, August 10th to Sunday, August 11th. In addition to selling Bachman Thomas products, a series of N Scale, OO Scale and Gauge 1 Scale models are set to be on display.

July 20th[]

The Awdry Extravaganza 4 continues into the weekend in Tywyn, Wales. Freddie's prop is displayed for the first time in the exhibition, as well as running up and down a stretch of track during certain time frames.

July 21st[]

The Awdry Extravaganza 4 ends with it's third and final day.

Bachmann Trains release high quality images of their upcoming HO Stanley Model as well as their N Scale Emily and Gordon Models.

November 14th[]

Hector's second/stunt model and Thomas' perspex model sell live on Prop Store's London 2024 Live Auction to private buyers. Thomas sells for £20,000 and Hector sells for £13,750.

November 23rd[]

The first day of Trainfest in Milwaukee WI begins, North Western Modelers are in attendance with their fan favorite Tidmouth Sheds Display.
A prototype of Bachmann's upcoming HO Sir Handel model is revealed at Trainfest alongside painted samples of their HO Stanley and Rebecca models.
