Character Bios is a one-hundred and eighteen page production document created for Thomas & Friends in 2013. It extensively covers characters appearing in the show at that time and details general information about them, similarly to the previous Thomas and Friends Writer's Bible created in 2003. It was revealed to the fandom for the first time on May 7th 2023, when it was uploaded to a Google-Drive by Twitter user Thomas'No.1Fan!, along with other CGI-era production items.

Trivia[]
- The working title of the episode "Gone Fishing" is revealed to be "Harvey's Hook". Interestingly, this was the title of a 2008 magazine-story.
- It is stated that Hiro arrived on Sodor when Steam-Engines were the latest invention, this is likely meant to mean that they were the most advanced technology of their day however, giving that Hiro isn't based on a really early design.
- It is revealed that before coming to Sodor, Norman worked at a busy Marshaling Yard on the Mainland, but due to faults in design he kept breaking down. He was only able to shunt a few wagons at a time, leading his manager to believe he was lazy. He was subsequently transferred to Sodor, along with Sidney and Paxton. Upon arrival, Norman was delighted to discover his twin Dennis was also on the island.
- It's subsequently revealed that Sidney boarded a Steamship, after forgetting where he was supposed to be, eventually arriving on Sodor.
- Some characters that didn't make a return to CGI yet or did not return to CGI are mentioned in the some of the long character bios:
- BoCo on Bill and Ben and Mavis' long bios
- Duncan on Rusty's long bio
- Duke on Sir Handel and Peter Sam's long bio
- Oliver and Stpeney on 'Arry and Bert's long bio.
- Lady Hatt is confirmed to be named Jane within the Television-Series canon.
- Grandfather Hatt's CGI Model is revealed in the document, as-well as confirming that he was the man resembling Sir Topham Hatt in the flashback scene of Hiro arriving on Sodor in Hero of the Rails.
- The section on Sir Topham Hatt references how from Season 13-15 he is referred to with the first name of Bertram. According to this document however, his actual first name is Topham. It can be presumed that this discrepancy came from someone who didn't realize Topham was meant to be the middle-name, and misinterpreted it to be the first name.
