The Clearwater Weekend Event 3, was an event that occurred during late August 2021, at the Midland Railway Centre. The event featured many different props from both Thomas & Friends & Tugs. A higher number of actual Clearwater Era props were seen out in the open during the event this time, instead of being hidden behind a paywall like the previous event. A paywall section did still exist for this event, but the admission into it was cheaper this time. Sam Wilkinson, other Mattel employees, and the Star Tugs Trust organized the event. Additionally various replicas and non Mattel owned props were exhibited such as a Thomas Replica by Sprinterveg95 and replicas of the Skarloey Engines by Skarloey Railway Adventure as well as marking his first official exhibition of the props he bought from Prop Gallery at a fan event.

Trivia[]
- Several things were confirmed by Sam Wilkinson during this event:
- Emily was originally going to receive her number in Season 23, but it was pushed to the next season, as the crew wanted her to earn it in an episode, instead of it randomly appearing without explanation. Additionally she was going to be numbered "13" but it was changed to 12 instead.
- Duke was indeed supposed to return to the CGI-Series during the Brenner-Era, and would've become one of the engines within Sir Robert Norramby's railway-museum at Ulfstead Castle. Additionally Smudger and Bertram were supposed to return shortly after due to them being a repaint of Rheneas and Duke.
- Dustin did indeed have a completed CGI-Short like both Logan & Sam. It was never released publicly for unknown reasons.
- Gordon's eye briefly fell out during day 1 of the event
- Duck briefly was loose from his chassis during day 2 of the event
