According to Mike O'Donnell on YouTube, he and Junior Campbell had recorded music to be used for Jack and the Sodor Construction Company. But when the series was released on DVD, the new music by Robert Hartshorne was used instead. This was most likely done to make the series more in-line with the new episodes during Series 8, 9, and 10 at the time of HiT Entertainment's involvement with Thomas & Friends. Despite being recorded and completed, the music has never been released.
