The Lower Tidmouth Display event was an event that was held on October 12th of 2019 by TomsProps, featuring many props from the television series, as well as replica props, including a re-created Gauge 1 Lower Tidmouth Station, and fact-sheets about the station. Sam Wilkinson attended the event, bringing Fergus' Gauge 1 prop with him. The Event was held in association with the Gauge One Model Railway Association (G1MRA).

- Many fans of the series showed up, and helped make this event possible, including Terrier55Stepney, TomsProps, FlyingPringle, Daniel Coffey, Sodor in Gauge 1,IslandOfSodorFilms 2020, and Lew the Raccoon.
- Following the event, Sam Wilkinson's ex-wife began targeting the fandom, as-well as sending vulgar hate messages to members of the community that attended the event, such as FlyingPringle.
- It was at this event that Sam Wilkinson first confirmed that Hurricanes face was based off of Channing Tatum.
