Nickelodeon (US)
Nickelodeon is an American television network, their sub-channel Nick Jr. aired the first two seasons of Thomas & Friends, on Shining Time Station, for a limited time in 2000, in an effort to help promote Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Nick Jr. also aired Thomas & Friends in the UK, until the contract ended in 2017, after eighteen years. As PBS was soon to drop Thomas & Friends, it was picked up by Nickelodeon, starting on December 15th 2017, with an airing of The Christmas Coffeepot and Terence Breaks the Ice, soon after Nick Jr. started airing the winter episodes from Season 20 and 21, and starting on March 12th, the show officially joined both channels, starting with an airing of The Adventure Begins. Nickelodeon stopped airing Thomas content on December 30th 2019, when they lost the rights to air the show, however several episodes were still available on Nick Jr.'s Spectrum On Demand, up until January 1st 2021.

Starting on March 13th 2018, Nickelodeon & Nick Jr. gained a consistent format that would be used until BWBA episodes started airing. This include the following.

Trivia
- Thomas & Friends was added to the Nick Jr. TV Schedule website on March 14th 2018.
- March 23rd 2018 onwards, the show received a official time slot at 4:00 PM on Nick Jr. starting with the Adventure Begins.
- the broadcasts of The Adventure Begins - Three Steam Engines Gruff/Two Wheels Good are incorrectly labelled as being from 2018 on their Television Guides.
