- The episode was scheduled to air on PBS on August 31st 2017 in a half-hour tv block from 11:00-11:30 AM (Presumably with the Shining Time Station episode it originally aired with), but instead was replaced with an episode of Cailou.
- It is unknown why PBS decided to recreate a TV guide description for this episode, as in 2017 only CGI era episodes were aired.
- The 2017 television description indirectly refers to Flying Scotsman as 'a two-engine'. This is meant to reference his two tenders.
