The Awdry Extravaganza 4 is an event that was held on the Talyllyn Railway between 20th and 21st July 2024.

- Every year a new face is given to the narrow gauge engines. In 2022 it was Peter Sam replacing the Nicolas Cage face. In 2023 it was Duncan replacing his skin colored face. For 2024 it’s Sir Handel and a second engine will also be given a new face, that being Rusty.
- For this event, the Corris Railway's No. 10 will visit to take on the guise of 'Sir Handel', allowing for both Sir Handel and Sir Haydn to be seen together for the first time.
- The tracks for the narrow gauge engines are actual Tenmille O Gauge track than the PECO SM-32.
- Carr (the red hatchback car)'s number plate is "HG11UVL". According to websites about vehicle data, it reveals that the car's model is from 2011 and it was registered in 30 July of the same year.
